Every robust solution requires a rock-solid foundation. The SoftSlate Cloud Platform (SCP) resides in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) hosting environment, and leverages their state-of-the art facilities and features. As a result the platform is built on a base that is secure, stable, and scalable.
Security
- The servers SCP uses are vetted by the Center for Internet Security (CIS), providing industry-standard state of the operating system security.
- SCP leverages automated system updates, ensuring your data will not be the victim of the latest exploits.
- SCP employs a Web Application Firewall (WAF) to prevent repeat hacking attempts and spam requests, both for security and performance.
- Internally, SCP enforces strictly limited operational access to the AWS servers, database, and other sensitive areas.
- SSL and encryption at all phases of application processing including data-at-rest.
Stable, Scalable, and Responsive
- All incoming traffic is handled by a load balancer which directs requests to a fully-redundant server cluster for maximum up-time.
- The SCP service has been down for less than 30 minutes since its inception. As of this writing it has an uptime of over 99.995%.
- SCP leverages AWS's auto-scaling capabilities to manage increases in traffic to the service.
- Daily backups protect your data from being lost for any reason.
