SoftSlate Cloud Platform Improvements, 10/11/22
Here is a quick update listing some new improvements to the platform deployed in the last few weeks:
Imports and Exports
Admins can now export any Grid page in the system in CSV format. Similarly, admins can also import records for any entity in the system. Combined, these two features allow for an easy way to manage the system's data in bulk, using your preferred spreadsheet application. FedEx Tracking
We have integrated with the FedEx Tracking service. A job is available to synchronize the latest FedEx tracking information with the site's Shipments, including for Transfers and Orders. For full details, please visit: https://cloud.
Similar integrations with the FedEx Rating service, UPS Ratings, and USPS Ratings, are on the roadmap.
Infrastructure Upgrades
We have been improving the backend server architecture of the platform. We have upgraded the database servers running the platform, as well as the database engine itself. This should provide some performance improvements. In addition, the platform's framework library was upgraded to the latest stable version including the latest security improvements.

Our platform features real time redundancy at both the web server and database server levels, meaning that if any single server fails, there will be no downtime and no loss of data. In addition, there is no downtime as application coding changes are deployed.
